JULIA is a conceptual brand created for a series of hand-blown glass bowls designed by industrial designer Linnéa Norlander. My aim with this project was to create a packaging and digital concept where climate impact isn’t hidden in the fine print – but instead becomes a visible and natural part of the product experience. The starting point was the bowls themselves, inspired by Mediterranean tapas culture. I wanted the design to reflect that same sense of warmth, simplicity, and tactile elegance.
The packaging combines a minimal metal base with a paper top, referencing the contrast between durability and softness – just like the bowls. A CO₂ label acts as a climate price tag, showing the product’s impact in a direct but non-moralizing way. A QR code links to a digital product passport with extended climate data in a transparent and accessible format. The goal was to balance visual refinement with clarity, and to use design as a tool for more conscious decision-making.
