Ex nihilo

Ex nihilo is a visual investigation into human presence through discarded traces found in the city of Malmö. The book collects ephemeral materials – such as handwritten notes, receipts and torn posters – that have been removed from their original context and reassembled. Through this shift, the project examines how fragments of everyday life can change in value and meaning when documented, dissected and presented in a new setting.
